Creativity and Innovation Week

World Creativity and Innovation Week was born in Canada in 2001. Its originators wanted to increase the awareness of creativity as an intrinsic part of human nature. “Wouldn’t it be great if people used more of their natural ability to create ideas, make new decisions and take new steps into the better future?” they thought. So the Creativity Day was born – April 21. Soon this day was celebrated in different countries all around the world and the Day of Creativity turned into the World Creativity and Innovation Week: from the 15th through the 21st of April.

You can celebrate Creativity Week with even small things, whatever your creativity may suggest you. Here are some examples:
Invent every day a new recipe.
Wear different socks for the whole day.
Brush your teeth using your other hand.
Share your ideas with the world.
Invite some friends to a winestorming.
Dancewalk.
etc., etc., etc.

Creativity Week in Barcelona

World Creativity and Innovation Week is celebrated throughout the world from the 15th to the 21st of April every year. More than once some of my crazy creative friends and I went out to the streets of Barcelona to shake people’s creative spirit and wake that creative spark up in anyone we would come across.

We have created a hashtag #wciwespaña in social media, so next April join the trend and create your own!

In collaboration with TRAPEZIdeTANA and Tatiana Komissarova
