What does a coach do?

A coach is a professional who assists the transformational processes of the others. The primary function of a coach is to help you to find within your own resources so you could achieve your goals.

It is just a craze…

There is a reason behind any trend. Our world is changing. In older days every person used to have a determined role in a social system. But a new paradigm invites each of us to unfold one’s uniqueness. That is why coaching is a phenomenon of new times so that everyone could tap into one’s true life purpose.

Coach is like a therapist?

A psychologist normally acts as an expert: he or she will explain to you your experience from a scientific point of you and will give you advice on what to do. A therapist will work with your psychological and mental traumas. A coach will help you to find your own way to understand how you could relate to yourself and to the others in different more satisfying ways. A psychologist or a psychotherapist could act as a coach, but not all coaches are psychologists or therapists.

Do I need a coach?

Do you have goals that you don’t know how to achieve? Do you feel that your life could be more than it is now? How to choose a coach?

Ontological coaching, co-active coaching, executive coaching, life coaching… Every other person seems to be a coach nowadays. How do I choose the right professional?

Well, you could start by looking at the level of the professional training and experience of the candidates. Although the truth is the titles and diplomas don’t warrant anything, as in any other profession these days.

As in psychotherapy, 80% of the success of the coaching process depends on the quality of the relationship between the coach and the client. So look for a person that resonates with you. Ask for references from the people you know. See how the coach presents his or her life outlook in social media. Does what the coach says respond to what you are looking for? Do you want to trust this person?

Generative Coaching

In generative work, our main point of interest is

the transformation of internal states.

Your state – mental, emotional, psychological, energetic – defines your perception of yourself, of the others, of the world, of the situation you are in and of your subjective experience. The scientists don’t stop saying - our mind is a great movie director. Everything that you believe to be true about your life in fact is the product of the perceptive processes in your brain.

So the first thing one needs to learn is establishing a deep connection with oneself and at the same time – being open to the world.

If you develop the capability of entering this state at any time, in any context, any situation – everything changes. Problems transform into resources, goals take a form of a game, life turns into a great passion.

What can you expect from coaching with me?

The first step: aware and connected

We always start with learning to enter the state of deep inner connection with oneself. This is the basis without which there is no way forward. We will work on your body awareness, explore how your body is related to your mind and your emotions, examine your experiences of various resourceful states, and learn how you can connect to them.

Goal-setting or listening to yourself?

My experience has taught me that in 90% of the cases we can’t reach our goals because they are not really ours: we fish them out of our neurosis, from social ideals, from frustrated dreams of our parents, from our longing for someone’s approval. If all your being does not resonate with your goal, your subconscious will always find an obstacle on the way.

Transform obstacles into resources

So goals normally come with obstacles. What we will discover is that when you connect to the “problem” from the resourceful state it turns into a new resource. So the key is not to try to get rid of it but to feel its power. And the success of your path will always depend on the state in which you walk it.

What can I promise?

Somewhere on the way, you will realize that you don’t really want what you thought you wanted. I won’t design action plans with you and won’t send you motivational messages. Your results will depend on you and on your daily practice of what we will learn together. But I will be there for you with an open heart while you will be learning to become aware and finding a new more positive relationship with yourself.
